Smileys

Certain character sequences are automatically converted into graphic smileys in the chat window:

The character sequences for smileys are case-sensitive.

Text Formatting Using BBCode

BlooChat.com allows simple Bulletin Board Code (BBCode) for text formatting in chat messages.

Tag	Function	Example: This code ...	... will be displayed like this
[b]...[/b]	bold	This is [b]bold text[/b].	This is bold text.
[i]...[/i]	italic	This is [i]italic text[/i].	This is italic text.
[u]...[/u]	underlined	This is [u]underlined text[/u].	This is underlined text.
[s]...[/s]	struck out	This is [s]struck-out text[/s].	This is struck-out text.
[br]	line break	First line[br]Second line	First line Second line

It is not necessary to explicitly mark links. They will be automatically identified and marked as such if they begin with "http://" or "www.".

BBCode tags may be nested in order to make text bold, italic, underlined, and struck out at the same time, for instance: [b][i][u][s]example[/s][/u][/i][/b] → example – but caution:

Please avoid excessive use of text formatting as well as of CAPITALIZATION and exclamation marks!!!!!!!!!! This is considered annoying "shouting" by many users.
